Katy Perry's "Bon Appétit" new single isn't the latest news about her this time around. Supposedly, the "Roar" singer came under fire after she made a racist comment using former President Barrack Obama's name.

According to Harpers Bazaar, Katy Perry was doing an Instagram Live for her "Bon Appétit" promotion when the things went awry. While on it, a fan said that the singer's hair is missable.

"Oh, someone says, 'I miss your old black hair,'" Perry said before sarcastically adding, "Oh, really? Do you miss Barack Obama as well? Oh, OK. Times change. Bye! See you guys later." This is the answer that caused the recent controversy of the "Roar" singer.

Katy Perry's bigot statement "Barrack Obama" immediately became a hot topic on the web. Her fans were outraged with how she was apparently insensitive of the words she used.

In another report by People, Katy Perry fans answers to her "Barrack Obama" joke is already the topic. Check out some of them here.

One of the most notable comments about Katy Perry's "Barrack Obama" comparison to her hair is Twitter Paris C's. The woman went on saying, "Wow Katy Perry. The reference to former Pres. Obama was offensive & a poor, tasteless attempt at humor. Your privilege is showing."

"Sometimes when I think that the world is an awful place, I remember that Barack Obama has more Grammys than Katy Perry, and I feel better" and "What does black hair have to do with Barack Obama? You're canceled @katyperry" are also some of the people's reactions to Katy Perry. More of this are already circulating on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry herself hasn't released anything about her latest controversy. The singer is still mum in either giving a sorry statement or anything for former president Barrack Obama and the offended masses.
